My best friend/soul mate’s birthday was the other day, and I thought I would share our eventful day with you guys in case anyone could use some ideas on what to do for their bestie on their special day.
One of my New Year’s resolutions was to try and be more thoughtful, and I’ve really been trying to work on it by putting extra effort into things like this. Let me know what you think

At midnight, (she was fast asleep because she had to get up at 6 am for work) I stopped by her house and left a plethora of surprise birthday presents & a meticulously chosen card on her doorstep so she could wake up to a shower of gifts first thing in the morning to ensure her day started off right!
After work, she came over to my house. I had stopped at the store before she arrived to gather a bunch of our favorite foods and snacks to be prepared and ready to eat when she walked in the door. How cute! A BFF Birthday Mini Picnic
Then, we took a short ride down to the tattoo shop to get matching BFF tattoos (which we have quite a few of and actually do quite often – so for you, it’s just an idea). After, we roamed around outside for a bit since it was gorgeous out to soak up the last bit of the sun before it went down.
When the sun was gone, we came home and popped a bottle of champagne that I had been saving for nearly a year (21+ only!). I gave her a full makeover and did up her entire face, we got dressed up, and headed into the city for a night out on the town!
& the rest was history! XO :-*
