President Trump is set to make his case for border security directly to the American people.

The President will then travel to the southern border on Thursday for a closer look at the border that he has proclaimed to be a severe national security crisis.
During the partial government shutdown, the President suggested the possibility of declaring a state of nationel emergency and enlisting the military to construct the wall, and essentially, therefore, by-bassing congressional Democrats.
To date, congressional Dem legislators have insisted they won't approve of any new money for a southern border wall.
