Absolutely breath taking. My husband and I spent pretty much all day yesterday at the Grand Canyon. (And we're pooped). It was a gorgeous day, not a cloud in the sky, not too hot and not too cold. We pretty much stayed on the South Rim, but we got some fantastic pictures and we will not forget the experience. We saw a few birds and a couple of moose. Not to mention a very brave squirrel joining a couple for a late lunch.
I'm a writer, so I'd like to think that I'm good with words. Others may disagree, but we'll leave that argument for another blog and another day. Anyway, I can't express in words how amazing the view was. We could see for miles all around us and every couple of feet that we walked held a different perspective. I've seen the Grand Canyon on TV or books hundreds of times, and it never seemed that impressive to me. But now having been there, I am in total awe still of its magnitude.
I would definitely go back without thinking twice about it and I would (I guess I am) tell everyone that they should go and see the Grand Canyon. It's one of those places that you have to see in person in order to truly appreciate it.
Until tonight, fellow bloggers.
