As the writer that I pretend to be, I know it's important to get into some daily habits. September went really well; I was doing everything that I needed to most of the time. Let's just say that the month of October has not been going so well in keeping up with those habits.
1. I haven't written anything really all month. To be fair I gave myself the week off last week to prepare for NaNoWriMo. But that was only the week and now I should have 3000 words written. You want to know how many I actually have? Maybe 300. I started a story today but I lacked motivation. I know that's not a good excuse, or even a bad one really.
2. I haven't been reading. If I'm not writing I should be reading. I know I have to work 40 hours a week, but I should be able to sneak a chapter a day into my life. I just have to maybe not spend so much time on the Internet.
3. I haven't kept up with my bullet journal either. I think this one kind of bothers me the most as it's my habit tracker. It's hard to know what's being neglected when you're ignoring the tracking system . Any ideas for how to get back into the habits other than just doing them? Maybe a reward system? I hate to make writing a chore though.
