What is success? I mean what measures actual success?? Is it making ridiculous amounts of money? Is it attaining your career goals… what about becoming a famous athlete…whatever it is for you, i think we can all agree that in order to reach those milestones, requires hard work, countless practice and study, and belief in yourself. but what we fail to mention is that along that road to success, there comes a fair amount of failure, disappointments and adversity. just imagine if you knew all that you would have to go through to get your ultimate destination. I was watching Joel Osteen on TV the other day and his message talked about how we start so strong and determined with our minds set on accomplishing our goals…. and we are filled with that great feeling at the end after fulfilling our dreams….but what about the journey in between the beginning and the end… this where most stumble and fall. If you knew the obstacles that would come along the way….would you continue?? or more importantly… would you even start. Ask yourself if the goals that you set are worth the pain of failure…the pain of rejection…the long hours…doors of opportunities being closed in your face…watching others make it while you are still struggling. To me, it’s a no brainer. To reach my dreams, i would go through the tough times every single time. If it was easy, then everyone would do it…. but it’s not …and everyone doesn’t
