There are three layers to this statement. First, the seed. Genetically modified seeds might produce larger quantities of food but they are not as rich in nutrients as the organic ones. 


Second, the soil. Using synthetic or chemical fertilizers on the soil can damage the soil as well as the plant that is growing in it. The sapling absorbs the fertilizers too, so your produce will have toxins from within. 


Third, the insecticides. The synthetic insecticides used in non-organic farming might be more effective at removing weeds and pests, but often causes damage to the plant, and hence, the produce. Using completely natural fertilizers and insecticides will not only get rid of the weeds, bugs and problems, but also enhance the soil quality and in turn, improve the quality of the produce.


Organic Meat and Dairy Comes with More Healthy Fats

Organically grown poultry and cattle are not injected with any hormones to supplement their growth. This means the meat, dairy and eggs you get from them are not chemically enhanced. The growth hormones have shown to have come in their produce and reached the consumer as well, adversely affecting their health. Organic cattle and poultry farming eliminates this practice altogether.
