Marks,
Syllabus,
Deadline.

5AM getting up
7:30AM school
3:30PM back home
4:30PM onwards tuitions.
***
Study till you crash
Isn't the education system too harsh?
Making donkeys out of children
And growing up; A punishment.
***
Sometimes embarrassed;
Humiliated, by teachers
Anger resounding
Curses pronounced.
***
Doesn't he need a happy life?
We've ensured him so much strife
Punishment melted in unfair ways
Where disobeying teachers is a crime.
***
Isolation; Shaken in a darkened corner,
Emotional blackmail; parental complaints
Are few strategies to make him pay
Is it necessary we punish an innocent soul?
***
Driven over to suicides
Their patience wearing thin
For when all is said and done
I can’t help being overwhelmed.
