Birds?!?!

    The other day I went out to my car to find there were 23 bird droppings on it (yes, I counted them) and another 50 plus on the driveway.  This was obviously a planned attack.  I don’t know what kind of birds they were, but they definitely targeted my car.  I then had two choices, either whine and complain, or wash the car.  As you can tell by this column, I chose to whine a bit first.

    In our daily lives similar things occur.  We end up committing sins that cause us to be ‘dirty’ in the sight of God.  Sometimes a situation just seems to happen, other times we step into it on purpose.  No matter what the cause, God is willing to forgive us.  But just as I had to take my car to get it washed, I have to take my sins to God to have them forgiven.  1 John 1:9 confirms this.  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (KJV)  If we want our sins forgiven, we must repent and then take them to God through the blood of Jesus.  It is the only way.
