I love daffodils. They seem to announce that spring is finally here. When those yellow flowers pop up I can finally believe that the snow is finished. They also brighten up any garden. The drabness of early spring is still around but they seem to shout out joy and hopefulness. It is almost like nature is screaming, ‘Look at me.’
Psalms 19:1 tells us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (KJV) When I look at daffodils I see the firmament showing His handiwork. Something that bright and cheerful could only have been made by Him. I see His handiwork in many things; the stars, clouds, frogs, snowflakes, streams and even things like worms and ants. Everywhere I look I am amazed at what His hand has done. The colours in this world are amazing. The variety and complexity of nature is mind boggling. Many may disagree, but when I look at nature, I can clearly see God’s hand in its design and formation. It seems that the universe and the things of this earth are shouting Almighty God exists.
