We have mice in our house. I bait traps and set them out, but it seems they have figured out how to eat the peanut butter without tripping the trap. The next morning I then have to rebait the trap. I figure that as long as I keep the traps baited, one day his luck will run out. So far, that has been the case, after a day or two of empty traps, eventually comes success for and demise for the mouse.
Many people approach their lives in the same manner as my mice. They meddle with things that could be dangerous spiritually, something that they know is a sin against God. Nothing seems to happen right away so they assume what they are doing is either alright or really not that bad. But eventually their sins will catch up with them.
In Numbers 32:23, God is warning the Israelites. “But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the Lord; and be sure your sin will find you out.” (NKJV) This applies to us also so we must remain vigilant in steering clear of sinful activities we know to be wrong.
