I have yet to see any robins this spring, but I know they are coming. We may get more snow first, we may get more cold days, but I know without a doubt that the robins will return. They have come back every year so far, why should this year be any different. I’m not sure you would be able to find anyone who doubts their reappearance. We don’t know exactly what day they will appear, but we do know they will come.
When it comes to Christ’s returning it is much the same. We do not know when He will return, but we do know He will. You will find many detractors, but that does not mean that it will not happen. In Matthew 24:42, Jesus says, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” (KJV) When He does come, each of us needs to be ready. We cannot wait until He comes and then decide to follow Him, that is something we need to do now, before He comes. Take some time to make things right with Him. No fancy prayed are needed, just a heart felt statement of repentance.
