There will always be a season in our lives where our hearts are fragile, our bodies are weak, our minds are torn and our souls are empty. For us, there’s nowhere to go, nobody to hold on to, and nothing we could ever do to fix it. How devastating it is to know that we are in a wilderness! We keep on going and take steps with no direction; lost in wonder with deeper thoughts; like survivals in the middle of a hunger game – in the middle of a dark shadow of a barren land.
But we know that the night won’t be too long and the sun will always shine on us on its own. Like a breaking dawn, slowly, we are letting the hope in our hearts light up the road that we’re walking. As the search for an inner peace continues, here comes the sun and now piercing the clouds. We lift up our eyes, see the sun rising, and looking beyond the sky. We keep on moving; desperately following the light, and gradually regaining the strength that was gone. Tears in our eyes are now dry and we are energized. We stopped walking but rather chose running as we uttered repeatedly, “there is light, there is hope!”. And eventually, we are
OUT OF THE RUINS.
What was once in a wilderness is now teeming with new beginning.
