Follow Author Well where to begin. I suppose the beginning is a good place to start...
I had wanted to start a blog for a long time but never plucked up the courage to put pen to paper (or whatever the digital age version of that saying should be) and talk about my experiences of language learning, travel and life's little adventures. I finally started my journey about 6 months ago and it has been a whirlwind of a ride so far. I have learnt Icelandic (at least a small amount anyway), spent an action packed week in Iceland and got engaged. I have no idea what the next 6 months will hold but I hope to share the experiences with you all.
I have a passion for learning languages and travelling (food is also up there too). I found my love for languages when I had planned a secret get away to Rome for my now Fiancée's birthday 4 years ago. I spent two hours a day listening to an audio course in the car and I was hooked. Since then I have continued to improve my Italian and picked up some French, Icelandic and, most recently, German along the way.
I will be writing about my adventures around the globe, experience of learning languages and everything else in between. I hope you will join me on my journey.
