Looking for easy to make whey protein powder recipes ? There are so many different ways to consume whey protein than just a plain, simple protein shake. In this blog, we explore some really fun ways to have your protein.

1. Carrot Cake Protein Balls

Serves: 10-15 balls


For the carrot cake protein balls: You will need 50 grams of instant oats, 100 grams of grated carrots, 50 grams of raisins, 8 dates (pitted), 75 ml of water and lastly, the star ingredient-100 grams of whey protein powder.

For the icing: You will require 100 grams of low-fat cream cheese and 2 tbsp of sugar free sweetener syrup.


  1. Blend the raisins till they are broken up.
  2. Add all the ingredients and blend together until their consistency is nearly smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls and freeze the balls for atleast an hour.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the honey and cream cheese together in a bowl till smooth.
  5. After an hour, coat the balls with the frosting and consume right away and set in the refrigerator.

2. Summer Berry Soft Serve 

Serves : 1


You will need 150 grams of frozen strawberries, a dash of almond milk, 25 grams of Greek yogurt, 1 scoop of whey protein powder.


  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend till it is smooth and creamy.
  2. Garnish with more berries and serve.

3.Tiramisu Protein Pancakes

Serves: 1



Tiramisu protein pancakes make for a healthy breakfast that is delicious, healthy and easy to make.

For the Pancakes: You will need 1/3 of rolled oats, 2 Tablespoons ground flax seed, 1/2 teaspoon sodium-free baking powder, 1 egg white,½ teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 cup strong brewed cold coffee, the star ingredient- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla or unflavoured protein powder

For the sweetened cream filling: 1/3 cup low-fat no-salt-added cottage cheese, 1/2 large banana, 1/8 teaspoon coffee extract, unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting 


For the Pancakes

1.Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

2.In a blender, grind oats into flour.

3.Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl and combine.

4.Take a separate bowl, whisk the egg white till it’s frothy and has stiff peaks.

5. Add the vanilla extract to the egg white peaks, mix in all the dry ingredients and stir.

6. Once the batter is incorporated, let it sit for 5 minutes before cooking.

7. Cook in batches for 5-6 minutes until golden brown with crisp edges.

4. Brownie Batter Overnight Protein Oatmeal

Serves : 1


You will need 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup greek yogurt, 1/16 teaspoon sweetener of choice, 1/16 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 1/8 cup of protein powder


  1. Take a mixing bowl and mix in all the dry ingredients first. 
  2. Mix in the other wet ingredients till no lumps are left. 
  3. Transfer the mixture to a mason jar and leave it covered in the refrigerator atleast for 3 hours, if not overnight. 
  4. Before serving, stir the mixture and top it up with chopped nuts, dry fruits or fruits. 
  5. Enjoy this cold or pop it in the microwave for 30 - 45 seconds to have it warm.

5. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Serves : 18 balls


You will need 1 cup of almond meal, 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut or almond), 2 scoops of whey protein powder, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup dairy free mini chocolate chips


  1. Take a mixing bowl and mix the almond meal and the protein powder together.
  2. Add in the maple syrup and the nut butter of your choice to the dry mix.
  3. The consistency at this point should be like cookie dough.
  4. Add in the chocolate chips and just mix the cookie dough lightly.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, measure out the cookie dough and shape them into balls.
  6. Repeat this process till all the cookie balls are formed. 

6.Protein Rice Krispies Treats Recipe

Serves : 9 


You will need coconut oil, 4 cups brown rice crisps, ½ cup peanut butter (or almond butter), partially melted, ½ cup brown rice syrup or honey, 3 scoops of protein powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Line a 9 inch by 9 inch pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. Take a medium sized mixing bowl and bring together the vanilla extract, melted peanut butter, brown rice syrup or the honey until it forms a dough consistency. 
  3. Once the mixture has come together, add the brown rice crisps. Gently use your hands to fold the crisps in. p
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan.
  5. Make sure the mixture is spread evenly and press into the pan so as to make it compact.
  6. Keep in freezer for at least 45 minutes.
  7. Before serving, using a sharp knife, cut the treat into squares.
