Pixi Ultimate Beauty Kit 3rd Edition Review:

Nov 16, 2016, 2:45:20 AM Life and Styles

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me, Pixi's Ultimate Beauty Kit 3rd Edition!Ha! I bet you thought it was going to be a partridge in a pear tree, didn't you glamour babes?! Nope, this travel companion is a far better gift than a bird nesting in a fruit tree. We can't stick those two items in a bag now, can we? Didn't think so, lol. What comes inside the $34 Pixie Perfect Edit Face Kit????

Only forty eye shadow shades, two highlighters, four cheek powders, one bronzer, and one contour powder. That'll keep ya hands busy for awhile, lol. Since there is so much to cover in Petra's all in one kit, I thought it would be better to swatch and break everything down for you boys and gals in segments. Sound good?! Fabulous!

When opening Pixi's Ultimate Beauty Kit, there are two shadow palettes. One to the left and one to the right. Each palette holds twenty shades that come in an array of hues ranging in rich browns, warm coppers, deep plums, dark blacks, nudes, soft whites, pinks, and lavenders, with textures of satin, matte, and shimmer finishes. The possibilities are endless with these eye shadows!
FYI: a few colors can be used as highlighters too (wink). Whether you want to create bright, petal soft eyes during the day, or a sinfully, dark pair of bedroom eyes for date night. The look you're trying to go for is right here in this very kit. No more eye shadow palettes for me, I have enough shades to get me through until next Christmas, lol. Some eye shadows have greater opacity than others as you can see in the swatches, light vs. dark. All are finely milled, silky smooth, comfortable to wear, apply evenly and easily, have long lasting wear, and produce very little debris when applying on the lids. Anyone who adores eye shadow will fall madly in love with these gorgeous shades.

Now, smack dab in the middle are my ultimate beauty faves; Highlighters, blushes, bronzer, and contour!

Don't get me wrong. I loved the eye shadows in this collection too, I just love to glimmer all the more, and Pixi has been doing a great job at that lately. Glistening brow bones, a sun kissed glow, and rosy pinched cheeks are exactly what I need to liven up my pasty winter complexion. All three are highly pigmented, opaque, have lovely pearlized shimmer, are finely milled (use the Pixi Palette as a crumb catcher if need be, lol.), buildable, and create a streak free finish, providing long lasting wear. I haven't really had a chance to dive into the contour powder (matte cocoa), but by the looks of it, the Pixi Palette Rosette Kit has the same shade, which enhances features softly and elegantly. Getting pretty and polished has never been easier.

Thus concludes Pixi's Holiday Collection for 2016. I hope you enjoyed the sleigh ride.

Stay beautiful! Xo.
