I think that Venice is one of the most special cities of the world, there are a lot of things that makes Venice so special, just like it's a car-free city, I think that it one of the most impressive facts from Venice, here, everything is with a boat or a "Gondola", the buses, taxis, everything, you cam move over the city by foot or by water, there are no roads, streets, highways or something like that.
The "must do's" in this city are the Piazza San Marco and the Cafe Florian which is the oldest cafe in Europe, but avoiding those places, one of the best thing to do is to get lost in this city, there are a lot of beautiful narrow paths, turistic shops and even the corners are beautiful in Venice!
Another interesting thing that you have to know about Venice is that this city sinks about 1 cm (centimeter) a year.
