My name is Shelly Meyer. I am a published author with 2 novels to my credit. I haven't sold many copies because my marketing skills are less than average, so I've let it go for the time being.
I am a writer by nature. I don't know when, why, or how I realized this is what I wanted to do with my life. It has always just been ingrained in me. I'm passionate about telling stories, whether fiction or in-depth, hard-hitting articles. I believe everyone deserves to learn new things and I feel I should be one of the people who should teach them.
I have been called a grammar cop on more than one occasion and I'm proud of that. I believe it's important to know how to read and write properly. I'm OCD about it, honestly, and it's a pet peeve of mine when people deliberately use spelling and grammar incorrectly. If English isn't your native language, I have no problem with mistakes. You're learning.
I want to be the best writer I can be and that takes work, and practice. I'm excited to continue to show the world what I can do.
