1. It's not so much what you wear as it is how you wear it.
When it comes to obeying or defying fashion norms, confidence is crucial. Most effective influencers, stylists, and bloggers possess this trait because they can "make it work."
2. Appreciate your body
Accept yourself as you are! Discover how to dress according to your body type. You will love yourself and feel fantastic in anything you choose to wear if you know what looks best on you every time you look in the mirror.
3. Be different.
If something special catches your eye when you're out shopping, don't be afraid to pull it off the shelf and try it on. You never know, it might turn out to be the next big thing that everyone needs in their closet. Who cares if someone doesn't like it; all that matters is that you do.
4. Don't go overboard
The best ensembles aren't always the most complicated. Tie your hair back and wear a white tee and a leather jacket with your high-waisted pants. Stride out in a pair of bright motorcycle boots and a chic handbag.
5. Become a trend-setter rather than a trend-follower.
Everyone wants to be trendy, but the best way to do it is to make it your own. Wear an all-pink dress and tint your hair if you like the color pink. Live your life as a risk-taker!
6. Invest in classic things that will never go out of style.
We all have those days when we want to blow a lot of money on a one-of-a-kind or novelty item, which is always entertaining, but I don't recommend it all of the time. The goods on which you should spend more money are those that you will wear again and again. Leather jackets, white sneakers, black boots, and white t-shirts are examples. But don't forget, if you see a pair of heels you really like, go ahead and grab them; you've earned them.
7. It all boils down to what's on the inside.
One of the most obvious telltale indications of a cheap or expensive jacket is the lining. If it's well-lined, fashion guidelines say it's fine to spend more money on it merely because it's made to be of higher quality.
8. Never purchase a dull coat.
Everyone in London wears a coat throughout the winter. The problem is that most of the time we're all wearing excellent clothes underneath that no one sees. Always invest in a well-lined, pricey, and enjoyable coat. That could mean getting a classic camel coat, which never goes out of style, or an opulent sequin-covered coat with a fur hood.
9. Mix and match your prints
When it comes to fashion guidelines, what you wear does not have to match; it simply has to fit. When putting together an outfit, make sure the patterns are in a complementary color scheme.
10. Dedicate a portion of your budget to accessories
Chanel, anyone? A girl's best friend is her bag. A lovely little black cross-body bag is impossible to go wrong with. When others see you coming down the street with that beautiful purse, they will be envious.
