Silk pillow cases; Are they really that good?

Silk pillow cases; Are they really that good?

Hey honey’s,

So over the years i’m sure many of you have heard about silk pillow cases being the way to go and the ideal type of pillow case to have, due to it’s beauty benefits. Today I am going to let you in on some of those beauty benefits and hopefully get you thinking about investing in this beautiful material. Yes silk pillow cases are an investment to some people as they are not cheap. However to all you lovely ladies and men that are all about your beauty and anything to contribute to your beautiful bodies, then I am sure this will be for you.

Hair: first of all, if you are tired of waking up with your hair looking wind swept, then a silk pillow case can help with this. The natural luxurious properties of silk, including it’s divine smooth surface, can help reduce friction on your hair which often causes damage, like spilt ends. I don’t know about you, but even this is enough to sway me in the direction of sleeping on a silk pillow case from now on. Bye bye bedhead, hello tamed, presentable hair.

Face/skin: sleeping on silk helps retain the moisture in your skin, enhancing it’s hydration unlike other various fabrics. This in turn will lead to glowing, youthful looking skin when you wakeup. Everything we want to see in our skin when we wake up right?

It is also cooling to touch, which will reduce sweat when you sleep, this leads to a reduction in breakouts as you will not have all of your sweat sitting on your skin while you sleep.

Silk also has hypoallergenic properties, which include a natural resistance to dust mites, fungus and mould, along with many other allergens. If you have skin allergies then this fabric will be perfect for you!

lastly sleeping on a silk pillowcase can help your skin stay healthy and smooth along with helping reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. what more could you ask for!

Chemical exposure: silk is produced from silk worms that are bred and raised in a closed environment. It is not produced from chemically intensive crops that are sprayed with pestasides and other chemical treatments before they are made into your bedding like other fibres. This creates luxurious bedding, with very little chemical exposure at all.

Luxurious experience: we all want to do what we can to have the best nights sleep possible, well silk bedding can do just that. I guarantee there will be no better feeling than the soft, smooth, luxurious feel of silk against your skin when you are in bed. You will have a truly relaxing sleep once your head hits the pillow I’m sure of it!

Thinking about making a small investment into some silk pillow cases now?
