A wise man once said, you blink and you miss… Such was this moment, somewhere along the NH 22, the Hindustan-Tibet road on the stretch between Rampur and Jeori.
The river Sutlej snaking its way between the mountains is a common sight even before Rampur. There was however
one moment when the valley seemed to stretch on into the horizon, seemingly endless, the mountains slopes fading away into silhouettes with the increase in distance..
One may wonder what is so great about this picture..! Sometimes, it is one such moment of perfection or excitement that we probably put up with a more mundane routine that we often end up calling life! Maybe, it is the number of such moments that define life, rather than the length of the road itself… Maybe….
