Christmas is one of those holidays that just seem to be filled with joy, happiness and wonder. Whether you are celebrating a secular or religious Christmas, your day is sure to be filled with happiness and gifts, especially when there are kids at your home. Though you’re busy baking cookies, take out some time for your kids this Christmas. Getting wrapped up in the Christmastime festivities is exciting but, it’s also wonderful, when you can carve out time to relax with your children, and feel festive without running out to the nearest  markets .     This cherished classic, which is offered in black and white, is very popular even after 60 years of its release. The movie is directed by Frank Capra, and stars Jimmy Stewart as a frustrated businessman, George Bailey, who has been tied to the town of Bedford Falls for years, instead of living the life of travel and adventure that is his only dream. When events take a turn for the worse, George thinks of ending his life but, his guardian angel, Clarence, steps in to show him what life would be without him and all his good deeds. This will be an interesting movie to watch with your kids, giving them a great social message.

    This Chris Van Allsburg’s Caldecott award-winning movie,The Polar Express, is a charming picture book about a train headed for Santa’s workshop that becomes an overstuffed animated extravaganza. Your kids will be delighted to watch this animated version again and again. The movie has Tom Hanks voice in multiple roles, in this memorable tale about a train trip to the North Pole and the wonder of Christmas, as seen through the eyes of a young boy.

The twisted mix of action-hero mischiefs and jokes is just silly enough to make all the members of your family smile.

    Buddy, the protagonist, which is played by Will Ferrell, grew up at the North Pole, doesn’t recognize the difference between him and the other elf children. After understanding that he is not from the North Pole, Buddy travels to New York City to find his father, which is played by James Caan. His hilarious adventures along the way will provide tons of laugh to you and your kids on this festive occasion.

    This is one of the famous movies, which we have seen growing up, and now it’s the turn of your kids to enjoy the amazing movie. Eight-year-old Kevin MccAllister, which is played by Macaulay Culkin, is left to fend for himself when his family leaves for Paris without him. Kevin at first loves the idea of having the house to himself but, begins to miss his family when he has to protect his house against burglars. His gratitude for his noisy siblings and irritating parents is quickly realized as Christmas Day approaches. The whole movie is a roller coaster ride and you and your kids will surely enjoy it.

    Starring comedian Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, a divorced toy company executive,who takes over Santa’s rounds on Christmas Eve after Santa takes a deadly fall off his roof. Calvin thinks his tour as Santa is over after one night but,eventually comes to learn that he is subject to the Santa Clause and must become the new Santa, big belly, beard and all, which make some problems for Calvin in his regular life. This is a great movie to watch with your kids and know what Santa does to make them happy.

    This movie is an autobiographical novel by humorist Jean Shepard, who is the narrator, and is a funny and touching 1983 adaptation. This amazing movie is a holiday must-see with your family and kids. Ralphie, which is played by Peter Billingsley, is a 9-year-old boy in the 1940s Midwest, who has his sights set on one thing i.e. getting a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas with which. everyone tells him that he will “shoot his eye out.” There are plenty of “boys will be boys” tricks and pranks, which include an unforgettable moment where another boy gets his tongue stuck to a flagpole.
