“Do everything without complaining and arguing,”
Philippians 2:14 NLT
Our lives should be characterised by moral purity, patience, and peacefulness so that we will shine “like bright lights” in a dark and depraved world. A transformed life is an effective witness to the power of God’s Word. Are you shining brightly, or are you clouded by complaining and arguing? Don’t let dissensions snuff out your light. Shine out for God. Your role is to shine until Jesus returns and bathes the world in his radiant glory. (Tyndale Study Bible)
Wow, do I still make myself guilty of this. I am much better at the complaining, but still far from perfect. What I still struggle with is complaining. Continuously there is something that gets to me. In the work environment, that is very easy. The challenge is to rise the occasion.
After salvation, the peace I received, made me better with complaining. What happened I realised how much I have to be grateful for. I blessed with everything I have become and all I have. It's that transformed life the commentator is talking about.
"Our lives should be characterised by moral purity, patience, and peacefulness so that we will shine “like bright lights” in a dark and depraved world." Can you say it better than that, nope I don't think so. One's silence in arguments is many times stronger than arguing.
Turmoil and dissension will always snuff out your energy and light. So just like I said before rise to the occasion, and show your strength.
"Lord I pray for peace, keep me from the challenges of the world. I thank you for Your Word. Amen."
