Today is a big day! I finished my cleanse today. I am so happy to say that I am down 13 lbs. and so many of my symptoms have subsided. I am not cured, by no means. I still have a very long way to go. Although, this positive progress puts an extra pep in my step it doesn’t make this journey any easier.
After meeting with my doctor today I now have a whole new list of supplements to take. (Can’t wait) <—Sarcasm! The latest is that it is probable that I have leaky gut as well. If this is the case it would explain some of my head inflammation (aka :Leaky Brain) . I have no idea how to explain the last one, just that things are passing through a barrier that shouldn’t be passing through. No need to worry, there is a simple test for this and if in fact this is the case….we just heal the gut. Easy Peasy!
After being a pin cushion today for my Micronutrient, Food Allergen and MTHFR testing I was beyond ready to just come home and relax. I don’t know if I have said this before, but I despise needles with a passion! It is all for great health in the end, that’s what I tell myself anyway!
My “Forever Diet” that was given to me last Wednesday has been an AWESOME and much needed adjustment! I got my eggs back! I know it doesn’t seem like much but eggs are baking gluten-free, wheat free, dairy free bread and for the most important meal of the day. Still no sugar, processed foods, breads, pastas, grains, cheese, or dairy of any kind. This lifestyle change has been an adjustment but oh so worth it!
I will continue to update throughout my progress or setbacks.
