Christmas is a time for giving and celebrating, so why not celebrate with some flower arrangements? Whether you're looking for something to add to your home or just want to surprise someone special, we've got the perfect floral arrangement ideas that will help spread holiday cheer.

Here are three of our favourite flower arrangement ideas that will help you get into the holiday spirit:

A traditional Christmas tree with a star on top

This is very popular and easy to do. All you need is some greenery, two or three branches for hanging your favourite ornaments from, small white lights and of course a large red bow! If the branch has berries add them too. It's as simple as that!

Flowers can be used in so many ways when decorating your home for Christmas. Wreath forms are easily found at any craft store but if not try making one yourself out of wire hangers wrapped around an old plate form (See our DIY section). Then simply fill it up with flowers like poinsettia's flower arrangements.

This is a great way to display flowers in your home without having too many vases and containers taking up space!

A traditional Nativity scene

This one takes some work but it's so worth the effort. If you don't have time or want to do this on your own, there are always pre-made nativity sets available online. However, if you're feeling crafty and would like to make one yourself here's what you'll need: Clay (for making baby Jesus), small rocks for stones that form the backdrop of the stage, evergreen branches with pine cones and berries for trees, poinsettia flower arrangements, some moss or leaves as ground cover and finally another bowl full of white pebbles for decoration around Mary.

A wreath on the front door

This one takes a bit of work too but it's well worth the effort! Again, if you don't have time or want to do this on your own, there are always pre-made ones available online; however, they can be pricey so try making your own instead:

First, get some wire hangers cut up in large circles with pliers (you'll need two for each wreath). Then take an old plate form and tightly wrap it with twine until completely covered then add another layer using green floral tape. Next, gather greenery from around your yard such as evergreen branches and pine cones and hot glue. Lastly, add flowers for decoration and you're all set!

A traditional Nativity scene is made with clay, evergreen branches with pine cones, poinsettias or other seasonal blooms, moss or leaves as ground cover and white pebbles used sparingly around Mary. A wreath on the front door takes wire hangers cut up in large circles wrapped around

You can do so many things to decorate your home for Christmas. These are just a few of our favourite ideas but we have lots more in our DIY section which is great if you want to save some money.

I hope these flower arrangements help get into the spirit of the holidays! Merry Christmas everyone :)
