Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Face Pallet

Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Face Pallet

Jun 22, 2016, 4:00:00 PM Life and Styles

When I heard about this collaboration I (like many) knew I had to have it. This collection has the face palette (limited edition), an eye palette (now discontinued), liquid Champagne Pop (Permanent), and poured crème Champagne Pop (Permanent). I already own Champagne Pop as an individual and in another palette (and absolutely love it), but I was excited to try “Champagne Pop’s little sister” as Jaclyn says. I love highlighters so Prosecco Pop was on my list to get! I also hadn’t tried any Becca blushes but had heard great things so what better way to try them out than in a palette with a few.

When it came in the mail I immediately opened it and swatched it; then bathed in the highlighters. Inside the box contains the palette itself along with a sample of Jaclyn’s favorite Becca Backlight Priming Filter. I already own this primer and love it! Comment below if you’d like a full review on it.

The packaging as expected is on point! It comes in a solid, sturdy case with confetti on the front. It is white with sleek gold. On the back is a label with each products name.

The inside is the same sleek gold with the 5 pans of product and the logo from the front. There is also an amazing huge mirror. The top three pans are the blushes and the bottom two highlighters. As you can see from the photo the highlighter pans are much larger than the blush pans (~0.12 oz vs. 0.19 oz).

The Blushes

Like mentioned above I had never tried their blushes, nor swatched them so my expectations were soley based off what I had heard. These do not disappoint! They are extremely pigmented (these are all one swipe).

Rosé Spritz is the Luminous Blush which is described as soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer. It is so velvety and luxurious to the touch. This one is my favorite because it adds a beautiful glow to the cheeks and isn’t too intense. After using this one I definetly want to invest in a couple more of the luminous blushes.

Amaretto is a Mineral Blush described as a matte toasted almond. I found this one to be a bit drier than the luminous blush but still great quality. It also blends out beautifully for a natural cheek.

Pamplemousse is also a Mineral Blush described as a matte warm coral pink. This one you have to be careful with because it is so pigmented it’s easy to get a little heavy handed. This color is perfect for summer!

When wearing the Mineral Blushes I like to add a highlighter on top of it because I like it better than the matte look.

The Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed (highlighters)

Champagne Pop is described as a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones. This highlighter is so beautiful. It also is easily buildable so you can glow, glow, glow.

Prosecco Pop is described as a medium warm gold. I am very fair so this can look a little yellow on me but it’s great over blushes or mixed with other highlighters. This also looks beautiful all over the eyelid.

The Entire Palette

This is perfect for travel or to try out Becca products! This palette is $52 and can be purchase through Sephora’s website and soon in stores. It is currently in stock. This palette is limited edition and will not be restocked a third time.
