A few words ring true.

As words do,

When they make us blue.

When our hearts can’t comprehend.

It’s meaning or common sense.

And such sadness they provoke.

Pitting life against darkness.

Expanding our minds to bulging messes.

There is nothing to express.

When they are done.

No sonnet versed enough,

Ever animated the few words,

Of life, love and on beyond.

It has been cradled in silver rings.

Plucked from clever beings.

But not embraced by us who ramble on.

Exposing faults in thoughts.

When it were easier to say.

“Had I some clever words,

I would have spared them.”

I am coming over with one of my most cherished poems from writtrace.wordpress.com. It is all about how I see myself. I am a writer with few words but a lover of the art.
