How to Travel in Style

"Take every chance you get in life, because some things only happen once"

-Karen Gibbs

Hello my lovelies!

I've now found myself in the Twin Cities for my cousin's wedding this Saturday, which is a really exciting new chapter of someone's life to witness. If you guys want to see my outfit/hair/makeup, let me know! I'll end up taking pictures regardless either way.

Whether it's a six hour car trip or an eight hour plane ride, I'm the kind of person that likes to look good while travelling. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to slap on makeup, (you totally can) but I really like to focus on my outfit. Obviously, I don't want to traipse around wearing high heels and a skirt, so relying on elevated lounge wear is my go-to look for long hours on the road. In this post, I want to throw out some quick and easy tips on how to stay stylish whilst on your travels, wherever they may take you.

Let's get started:

Comfort is Key, But So is Style -

You don't have to sacrifice style for comfort. The two are absolutely not mutually exclusive. If you want to stay on trend, go for the athleisure look; tennis shoes and a jogger pant is my personal favorite version, and it's such an easy base to play up, which brings us to my next tip...

Focus on Accessories -

Grab a handy shoulder bag, a worn-in jacket, and a cute hair accessory to cover up the grease machine that is your hair. It's easiest to focus on the intricate accessories in this particular setting, because wearing an embellished shirt on a plane is not the height of comfort, but a dainty set of embellished earrings is!

Bring the Sunnies -

It doesn't matter where in the world you're going, or what mode of transportation you're using. You should always bring at least one pair of sunglasses with you. Plus, they're a great way to add on yet another practical accessory.

Skip the Makeup -

Or, at most, throw on some BB creme and mascara and call it a day. Makeup is great, but having it rub off everywhere because you dozed off in your relaxed state? Not the best way to start your travels. Your skin is great, you're great, everything is great.

Ultimately, my advice is to wear what makes you comfortable, travelling or not. If that means pajamas, fantastic. If that means high heels, wonderful. What makes you most happy and most relaxed is your only priority when dressing yourself.

That's all I have for you guys today. Please remember to like, comment, and subscribe, it really helps me out. Also don't forget to have a fabulous Friday!

Stay beautiful!
